Cancer Kintsugi book

Cancer Kintsugi ~ repair, reconnect and heal beautifully and powerfully, embracing imperfection.

Cancer is a catalyst for a life-changing experience. We can look at cancer differently. Not as the end of everything, but as the starting point for a continuing, full, happy and healthy life, being grateful for all you have. Some people rediscover a deep meaning and zest for life in the process. This book is a starting point and guide for your research into a holistic view of cancer treatment, embracing all possibilities. This approach is not about luck. It’s about applying healthy choices from the very beginning of your diagnosis that may be instrumental in recovery, remission or a healthier life if the illness progresses.

This approach takes considerable effort and dedication, especially at the outset, but it is worth it. Early intervention is critical. If cancer advances, it can be too complex to overcome.

Knowledge is power. Hope springs eternal.

NATURALLY, I wish you all the best.

Paul McKenna

Why Cancer Kintsugi?

Two months before Sally passed away, we visited her family in Hepburn, Victoria. Her sister Bridget is a potter. She had arranged for us to have a bit of fun throwing and decorating pots. We were grateful for the opportunity to spend the day with her family and had a wonderful time. Sometime later, after the firing, it was discovered that one of Sally’s pots had a significant crack (pictured). I had read about Kintsugi and planned to repair it.

Sometime after her death, it occurred to me that healing from cancer is a similar process to kintsugi; hence the ‘cancer kintsugi’ concept of repairing and reconnecting body, mind and spirit and healing beautifully and powerfully, embracing imperfection. Even though Sally wasn’t able to heal in time, I know she would wish others all the best.

This book is dedicated to her.
